I had an amazing experience at Hi Lo! The owner was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Even though the store was closed, he opened it up for my friend and me so we could purchase the items we needed to make breakfast for our friends who were staying in an Airbnb.

His willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference, and we were able to find everything we needed. The store had a great selection, and I truly appreciated the friendly service. I love this store! Richard (the owner) is friendly and knowledgeable about every product in the store. His friendly demeanor creates a welcoming environment. You can even buy hot-cooked Jamaican food at the Caribbean Hotspot food joint inside. This has become my go-to African/Caribbean market, and I suggest anyone in the are or afar to visit.

After visiting this store, I felt like a kid in a candy store. They had a lot of Jamaican food product which was my main reason for visiting. I really wanted bread fruit/yellow yam and they did not have them on hand but informed me when they were going to get it and that was great customer service to me. Love this store and would definitely recommend to others. Cashier and owner is pretty friendly and customer service is on point. They even had some snacks from Jamaica like ping pong, Bobbie, Nicole’s banana chips, duplex, butter list sandwich biscuit, bun and cheese and much more.
