I first learned about High-Tech Family Care when I had to go on medical leave due to stress and pain, and my husband was diagnosed with shingles. The hospital told us to follow up with a primary care physician (PCP) for his FMLA paperwork. I called High-Tech Family Care, and they were incredibly responsive, scheduling us for an appointment the very next day at 9:30 a.m.!

Although there was a bit of a wait at the clinic due to their high volume, their team was efficient and compassionate. The doctor immediately recognized my husband’s pain from shingles and prescribed a higher dosage of ibuprofen that wasn’t narcotic but provided far more relief than regular over-the-counter medicine. I was so grateful for how they handled his case and took his pain seriously.

Another great aspect is their connection to Methodist Willowbrook. We didn’t have to worry about bringing piles of paperwork because they had access to my husband’s records, pulled up his entire chart, and knew exactly what his diagnosis and next steps were. It saved us so much stress.

Their process for handling FMLA paperwork was smooth—simply fax, email, or send it over, and they’ll take care of it. While there is a fee for processing FMLA paperwork, like most doctors, they are thorough and make sure everything is in place for you to heal at home while also keeping your job secure.

Scheduled an appointment at 10 am today, arrived at 9:47, waited until 10:55 and watched everyone called before me. Asked the receptionist at 10:43 if she knew how much longer it would be, she said “you’re next” and two more people got called. I asked the person calling the patients if I was going to be called soon and she said “I don’t know, but you’re next”. I understand if you’re running 15 minutes behind, but appointment times aren’t suggestive. If you can charge me for being late or not showing up, then I can ask why I waited for over an hour just to not be seen.

I have been going to High Tech Family Health Care in Spring for over 4 years now and I love it. Whether it is one of the awesome PA’s or Dr. B I always get all of my questions answered and needs met. They are thorough and very helpful! The only issue I ever have is getting my prescriptions refilled or prior authorizations. The front office people are nice but it has taken 3 months for me to get a prior authorization for a new dose on my meds. I have called, talked to people, left messages numerous times and I am still waiting. It takes so much of my time to call the office and the pharmacy and my insurance and it always comes back to the doctor’s office. They tell me it is done or being done and a few weeks later I still have no meds. I go through this every time I need a prior authorization or a new med.

Great Dr. HORRIBLE staff. BOTH locations. I have had multiple run ins with nurses. They are rude and no one returns phone calls or passes messages to the doctors. If you don’t call for your results you’ll never know. God forbid if someone was terminally ill waiting on results it could be fatal. I don’t trust this practice with my health due to lack of urgency and poor communication. Dr. Billal is such a wonderful doctor who is very knowledgeable and very compassionate and truly cares but her staff will cause her to continue to lose patients. I travel 1 hour to her office because she knows her stuff I’m for sure changing providers, I’m sure there are other great doctors out there with a much better staff.

I have been a patient at this clinic for years and u unfortunately it’s come to an end. The last person I was seen by was nurse practitioner Gigi. She was talking in circles and didn’t seem knowledgeable about the medications I spoke her about because she looked all of the up on her phone. She didn’t seem knowledgeable about leave of absence paperwork either. One moment she mentioned a referral for continuation of care, and the next she is telling me to bring her the LOA paperwork to fill out and see her again in two weeks to speak about the medication she prescribed me. Now she is saying she will not fill out the paperwork after telling me several times to send it to her office and she was the one who treated me. This whole situation led to other unnecessary actions that took place. I did not find her helpful and didn’t appreciate the way I was treated by her.

Been a patient for years and here lately not too impressed with service or care. The staff keeps switching up. Not as knowledgeable as previous workers . And referred my dad as a patient to get an injection for iron ~ immune system etc ... $200 only to swell up his arm because the young lady didn't know what she was doing . So after 2 attempts to stick him, he just left because his arm was swollen and sore. Instead of getting help or notifying management what she had done to him , she act as if everyone was too bust to assist her . I wasn't there ~ but once my dad came home I was furious! His entire arm was 3 sizes larger . I be glad when Dr. B get her GOOD PROFESSIONAL staff lined up at both locations. Thus far, the Spring location sucks in delivering top care. I hate giving this review because I consider Dr B and a few long time staff family but lately service & care sucks ! One more mishap and my family and I are switching doctors.

If I could give 0 stars I would! At first I was glad to have found this place because I needed a doctor who had Saturday hours. My first visit was good and it went downhill from there. They kept trying to charge me for labs that I do not have to pay for. The Dr has been telling me since June that they are sending me a cologuard and it still hasn't come. They gave me a stool card but didn't put in an order for it so it was never processed! Save your time and go to Kelsey-Sebold!

When I was referring to Dr. Shazia back in 2018 I was not expecting the wonderful experience I received from her staff in the Woodlands and Spring. When I tell you the amazing experience from the calling making the appointment to my first initial visit. Dr. Shazia’s entire staff at both locations are very friendly and professional!! My experience with Dr. Shazia and her colleagues have always been amazing. Unlike some offices that want to get in and out within 7mins, Dr. Shazia and her colleagues do not operate in that manner. When you’re being seen the visit is very thorough and you are not being rushed, all of your questions and concerns are answered and attended to without a rush!! I have been so impressed by the exceptional service I always refer Dr. Shazia to others as well as my family and friends!! I live in Friendswood and have made the drive to the Woodlands and Spring!! If you want a doctor and staff who truly cares High Tech Family Care is where you should go!! You all are the best hands down!!! High Tech Family Care where they truly care!!
