Great selection and prices.

Also, the plushies are dangerous. I keep buying them.

Two suggestions:
- certain foods could be better placed together to make shopping easier because some dishes always require the same ingredients.
- add a couple of nice cups to the cafe so people can enjoy espresso or coffee in a nice cup in the store. I think the extra effort to clean the cups is worth it because the longer someone stays here, the more likely they are to buy more.

I read some comments that some items are overpriced/expired/moldy. However, like every grocery store, you need to have a keen eye on what is worth it and what is not.

Here are my findings:
- What is cheaper or market price: soba, tofu, oreos, lays
- What is more expensive: fruits and beer
- My overall take: they are likely buying a lot of variety and stocking until sells out. Some items that have long shelf life sit on the shelf for too long and become expired. Fruits are priced higher because they know they have to throw it out. While this may be inconvenient, it gives me more variety and I don’t mind inspecting everything I buy.

Very wonderful little shop with lots of wonderful snacks and groceries from Japan, China, Korea, and more countries from Asia. The best thing is you can enjoy a good selection of drinks from the Progreso Café right by the entrance (inside) while you browse. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll definitely enjoy your visit here.

We recently visited a restaurant and decided to dine in for what we hoped would be an enjoyable meal. However, our experience was marred by poor service and a frustrating incident involving the use of the bathroom. This seemingly minor issue ended up overshadowing the entire visit and left us feeling dissatisfied and unwelcome.

After ordering our food and settling in to eat, one of us needed to use the restroom. This is a basic expectation at any dine-in establishment, especially one that serves food and drink. When we approached the waitress to ask for the bathroom code, her response was baffling. She claimed she did not know the password. This seemed strange, as staff members typically have access to such information for the convenience of their customers. It raised immediate red flags about the professionalism and preparedness of the staff. Why wouldn’t a waitress, who interacts with customers all day, know such basic information?

Confused but determined to resolve the issue, we approached the cashier next. This is where the situation escalated from inconvenient to outright frustrating. The cashier told us that the bathroom was for employees only. This statement contradicted the initial response from the waitress and made us question the restaurant’s policies. If the bathroom is truly off-limits to customers, why not communicate that clearly upfront? Why allow patrons to dine in without informing them that they won’t have access to basic facilities? It felt like an intentional disregard for customer comfort and needs.

The lack of clarity and the dismissive attitude from both the waitress and cashier demonstrated poor communication and a lack of care for the people patronizing the establishment. It’s reasonable to expect that a restaurant with dine-in services would have facilities available for customers or, at the very least, an alternative solution. The contradictory statements from the staff only added to our frustration. We were left wondering whether the bathroom was actually unavailable or if they simply didn’t want to accommodate us.

This experience highlights the importance of consistent policies and proper training for restaurant staff. A simple situation like this should not have escalated into a negative experience. If the bathroom is genuinely off-limits to customers, the restaurant should make this clear through signage or verbal communication upon entry. Alternatively, if there is a password-protected bathroom for customers, the staff should be equipped to provide the necessary assistance promptly.

The poor handling of this issue reflects a lack of attention to customer service. Restaurants rely on their patrons for business, and ensuring a positive experience should be a top priority. Unfortunately, this establishment failed in that regard. The indifferent attitude from the staff and the lack of basic amenities like restroom access made us feel undervalued and unwelcome.

We left the restaurant feeling disappointed, not just by the bathroom situation but by the overall lack of professionalism and care. It’s unlikely we’ll return to this establishment, and we wouldn’t recommend it to others based on this experience. Good service is the cornerstone of any successful restaurant, and this one fell far short of expectations.

Many stuff at this place doesn't have expiration date! I asked the cashier to find expiration date of this cooking wine for me and he couldn't find it. He said since it contains 12% alcohol, it has longer shelf life so it doesn't need an expiration date? so, double check everything before you check out....

so far the largest asian market in the area with a good selection of necessities, fresh and dry! However the bakery inside is not as fresh and yet pricier than the Ai Mart baked goods. The nearby bakery inside Teazzi is the freshest and best quality baked goods in the area.

We did dine in at the restaurant and wanted to use the bathroom, was first told they don’t know the password by the restaurant waitress and then told the bathroom is employee only by the cashier. Really bad service.

New Asian market in the area, looks like they carry a variety of goods, hair / skin care products, and more importantly a variety of Chinese cooking sauces ! No more trips to Flushing. They plan on carrying fresh produce soon as well, great addition to the neighborhood
