Dr K has been my epileptologist for 25 yrs. No one has held a candle to his level of compassion, kindness, and his breadth of knowledge about medicine, esp all forms of neurology and psychiatry. He spends time w every patient, no question is dumb, etc.

Dr. Andres Kanner is truly an incredible professional and compassionate Neurologist that I have been blessed to have as mine for decades. Epilepsy is a challenging health issue, but having Dr. Kanner as my Neurologist the years I have, again have been a true blessing. Dr Kanner was my neurologist for over 20 years in Chicago. He is very caring and knowledgeable, and even funny sometimes! He worked with my parents and I since I was a teenager. He found me the correct medications to avoid having a brain surgery for many years. When it came time for me that I had to have it, the the surgery was less invasive!

My boyfriend Cj just had his first visit with Dr Kanner yesterday. Typically any neuro appointment he has gone to has been 5 mins in and out with prescription in hand. BUT he spent over an HOUR talking to Dr.Kanner!! That just amazes me we are so so thankful we found a Dr for him that asks questions regarding his health and wants to help ALL of his patients succeed. We are so appreciative to have been referred to him and to have found him. 100000% all around an amazing doctor!

This is THE best doctor for neurology I have ever met. Suffer from Epilepsy and been to many many doctors. I was a little suspicious because of the wait time, however the only reason why it was a wait is because he takes his time with each patient. My first time with him and he walked me through everything I needed to know, and asked me all about my history and developed a great treatment plan that is definitely personalized with you in mind. I highly suggest that anyone looking for a very thorough and amazing neurologist come see him!!
