Purchased Tuscan half and half a week ago at C-town and had been using it all week long. I was wondering why the nozzle was looking grayish this morning. Little did I know that the container was a complete mold farm! And still had weeks to go before expiring!! Watch out people! I’m watching you, C town!

As others have pointed out, the cashiers do not bag your groceries, and holler "next" before you've had a chance to bag them yourself. I often don't need a bag, and usually place no more than five items into my shoulder bag. But even if I have only a few very small items, the checkout process has often been extremely unpleasant.The next customer who's been prematurely summoned isn't paying me any mind, nor is the cashier, as I am consequently off to the side, trying to bag with little room to spare, or even standing in the middle of the floor.

However, I have more recently been given more time to put my wallet away, and bag my groceries. When they do patiently wait, I always say "thank you."

For shopping, I have appreciated being able to find items that other stores don't carry. On the whole, they're of a higher quality, with many more choices.

At this store, the normal practice of placing "impulse buying" items in the vicinity of checkout cashiers has been raised to a high art.

Shoppers can also bypass having to purchase items one would normally find behind locked glass doors at the pharmacy. Here, they are placed on shelves just across from the cash registers.

i feel like a dork reviewing a grocery store but im so over shopping here.

this place does not replace expired food on their shelves. make sure to check all your exp. dates before checking out. it happens there too often and im currently sick from not catching expired ingredients from them in time.

whats worse is when good products do sell out, it takes them nearly forever to restock.

AND - compare your receipts, this place is notorious for charging more than the shelf price frequently.

Nice grocery store. Has grown in size over the years. The larger space gives you more of a variety of choices to choose from. They have a good selection of cheeses.

Seriously horrible market. You cannot shop here without checking expiration date on every item you purchase.

Time and time again my boyfriend and I have problems with expiration dates and moldy food at CTown. Spoiled yogurt, sub par produce, tons and tons of moldy products.

Yesterday we bought a Cabot cheese to make some tacos in a rush. Ate it last night and my boyfriend mentioned it was rubbery - we didn’t really think about it in the moment and chalked it up to not usually buying that type of cheddar. Just shredded some more and realized a huge black spot in the middle of the cheese. Turns out it expired on 7/11 over a month ago.

I know I should be checking expiration dates since this happens regularly, but is it too much to ask that when you pick up a cheese block from a well stocked section it’s not a whole month expired. It’s pretty ridiculous, this happens all the time with fruit.

Its so bad that I suppose they must have deals with distributors on almost expired produce and push it on the shelves as long as it looks good. I actually don’t know why I keep going back.

I'm convinced the employees are forced laborers based on how miserable they are with every customer interaction/while checking out groceries. This market is feet from my apartment, so it would theoretically be convenient to shop here. But, I would rather go out of my way to visit a store farther away or order online to avoid the unnecessary frustration of interacting with this store's employees.

This CTown has definite been altered from other CTown to fit the area of town it is located. The grocery is pricier than other Ctowns. However this is a well stocked and organized CTown. There is a lot of food options for different dietary requirements. Won’t hurt to shop here if you live close by.
