Mi experiencia fue decepcionante porque después de esperar tanto tiempo para la cita presencial me dicen que el doctor no puede, y que la opción es telehealth a las 9:15 am. Recibí el mensaje con link a las 10:36 am, o sea la cita era virtual y la espera fue más de 1 hora. Y lo peor de todo que debo hacer exámenes y ultrasonido y tomar cita y las órdenes nunca llegaron a mi correo electrónico. Mala organización, fatal la comunicación, irresponsables e impuntuales.

My wife and I were referred to Dr. Diaz as our baby boy was not gaining weight properly. He has an aversion to formula and is only in the 23% for weight. When we met Dr. Diaz, he was extremely rude and condescending. We shared our concerns with Dr. Diaz and instead of empathy, he acted rude and unconcerned.
As someone who is in the pediatric speciality field, I would assume some level of decorum or understanding towards new parents. In addition, our son just turned 1 year old on September 4. When he saw Dr. Diaz, he obviously had some level of 'stranger danger'. Instead of calmly approaching our son, he left the room in frustration and came back afterwards with a foul attitude.
Dr. Diaz also has unrealistic expectations for a 1 year old. Although we are executing baby led weaning, it is natural for a 1 year old to not eat properly, throw their food, or simply not intake sufficient calories. For him to state "what is wrong with him" show how out of touch he is with the current times.
My wife and I are very disappointed in this manner of professionalism and lack of empathy displayed by this doctor. My wife herself is a GI Fellow and deals with unruly patients all day. If this is the kind of treatment this doctor provides towards his patients, it makes me wonder if he truly cares about the outcome or health of children.

El lugar es limpio y organizado, la atención por parte de las chicas del front desk fue agradable, son amables y son sonrientes con los niños, sin embargo mi bebé fue atendido por el doctor Diego Diaz, quien nunca saludo a mi bebé, nunca lo miro a los ojos, no tuvo una sonrisa hacia él, mi bebé en varias oportunidades lo miro sonriendo y buscaba su mirada pero no obtuvo una respuesta positiva por parte del doctor, me parece que fue poco amable, no fue cortes y no tiene la simpatía necesaria para trabajar en una especialidad con NIÑOS, por esta razón doy una calificación de 3 estrellas.

As long as I've been dealing with specialty doctor's, I've never had to involve myself with referrals. That's something typically done with the primary physician and the specialty doctor's offices. These ladies want to be paid,but not work for the pay. I was in contact with this office 2 days prior to my daughter's appointment, Even got a call to confirm her appointment. And at no time did anyone mention a referral form. I spoke to the office manager and she said that's the patients responsibility! If you see two days prior to appointment, there is no referral form the office should have said something, especially when this appointment was confirmed. The office manager Barbera said "we will give a courtesy call this time" as if they were doing me a favor. there is no courtesy that is the office job to make sure everything is in order for the doctor to have a flowing schedule. I told her she's making alot of awful excuses, being that she's in charge of the office operations. These women are lazy, I have no experience in this work setting and I guarantee I could do it with my eyes closed. Not to mention I was supposed to get a call back the day before the appointment and guess what! Nobody ever called back. This has put a unpleasant taste in my mouth. Crappie services and nonchalant attitudes. They need to hire better staff.

We went to see Dr. Diaz and he was very nice and professional. The manager, Jenny, is amazing, very helpful, and nice. The ladies on the front desk really need to be nicer when answering the phone lines.
