Horrible,
This location has 0 quality control over the seafood. Last year I purchase lobster tails and they were smelling foul. This year red snapper same situation. It is again same rotten smell. We are eating fish only almost every week, never had this happen with other local stores. I believe they are freezing and refreezing again.

뉴욕에 처음 이민와서 그때만해도 우드사이드,써니사이드에 한인타운이 많이 형성되있었죠. 84년도에 한아름(현 에치마트) 유니온지점이 생기기전까진 진짜 여기랑 후러씽 구화식품이랑 삼복식품이랑..여기 바로 옆에 금문이라는 중국식당이 있었고 평양면옥,대동면옥이 있었죠. 그리고 하림각이라는 중국식당이 있었고 취영루,그리고 80년대말쯤인가 90년대초반인가 생음악 까페 숲속의 빈터도 있었죠. 그곳에 꿈을 불렀던 이현우도 오고했죠. 데뷔전이었을겁니다. 초원회관이라는 연회장도 있었죠. 참 많은 세월이 지나면서 하나둘씩 없어지고 후러씽으로 모두 들어가고 유일무이한 그곳에 계속 남아있네요. 그래도 한동안 루즈벨트 74가인가에 뉴욕종합식품점도 있었지만 문을 닫았고요. 옛날에 루즈벨트에비뉴 74가 코너에 가수 태진아씨가 진아패션이라는 옷가게도 했었죠. 그때만해도 우드사이드,써니사이드,엘머스트에 한인들이 꽤 많이 살았죠. 지금은 없겠지만서도..그립네요. 옛날이..

I used to be grateful to have Korean market in my area. However, I do not appreciate those Hispanic girls they hired after the renovation. They are always chatting in their own language while their elbows on the cashier counters. Even when they have customer in front of them they don’t stop talking and don’t paying attention to the customers needs and throwing some attitude around. They are extremely unprofessional, ungrateful, and rude.
Whoever owns the H mart business, you better educate your employees or have your hard working Asians back in the store like old days. They are ruining what you have built up in this small community.

Small H-Mart store so they don't have everything like the LIC or Bayside stores but despite that, they have a lot of things you will need. Hot foods and iced coffee/latte in pouch with ice cups are available so you get the Korean convenience store feel. Korean products from snacks to noodles and rice, meat and dairy also available and everything is good quality, nothing rotten or old. They also have some domestic products like American breads and cereals, etc. Veggies and fruit available but definitely check out the roasted sweet potato, it's the first thing you see when you enter the store, right next to the entrance

Had the chance to go to the re-opened HMart in Woodside! I'm glad I did! Good selection, fresh veggies, ready to eat food, a lot of food options and neat and well organized items.

Update 10/05/2023 wait is over. It’s open again. Still same size store but modernized to match other hmart. I’m gonna miss the tofu made on site though

Update 8/8/2023. New door installed. Sign outside says coming soon. Should be re-opening in couple months.
Update 10/31/2022. Renovation not done yet. Got here 5:15PM and worker is just shutting the gate down.

Been visiting per month for the past 10 years for sliced meat and Korean grocery. Looking forward to the reopen!

H Mart's first store has reopened.
It's a mini store, but there's really everything there is. It would be convenient for residents living nearby to buy fresh ingredients right away.
