I don't know the name of the young lady who helped me. I assume it's Manjit mentioned in a previous review. She was very kind, honest and reasonable. Went out of her way to inspect the chicken pieces for quality without me asking before providing them when I mentioned I'm sharing it with people at work tomorrow

Fried chicken is good. A bit pricy, but delicious. The spicy chicken very mild. I can't normally handle spice and I found it alright

Considering the area and the homeless encountered, these employees go above and beyond. More security measures like cameras or glass at the counter should be installed to ensure safety

It's a good restaurant, shame it's in a rough part of downtown

ABSOLUTE BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN VICTORIA or anywhere that I’ve ever tasted. Their chicken is extremely crispy, juicy, tender and tastes insanely fresh as i believe it’s made to order. Also wanted to mention it’s very light so you don’t feel like you just ate a ton a fats and oils. I don’t know how they do this ? They also had a special on their 2 pieces of chicken which you can choose fried or roasted or regular or spicy. I chose regular fried chicken. They also have this deal on with their reg chicken burgers too. Such an incredible deal. I ordered delivery via Uber Eats and usually the food is soggy and cold. This was NONE of these. I was so impressed how hot and crispy the chicken was and the Korean chicken burger was ridiculously yummy and super crispy fried , golden to perfection. I asked for the Korean sauce on the side as I didn’t know how spicy it would taste and so the burger wouldn’t go soggy. It arrived fast and everything was still hot and crispy. I added pickles to my chicken burger and added my own tomatoes which made it perfect. You can pay a small fee to add these to any burger and I just felt it made it taste even more fresh than it already was. The brioche bun was definitely fresh and so was every other item that I ordered. The Korean sauce wasn’t crazy spicy but I’m glad I got it on the side so I could.control how much I wanted so I used it more as a dip for my French fries that were also crispy , golden , and fresh. I did put them in the air fryer for 3 minutes and then they tasted just like they came out the air fryer. I was so incredibly impressed with every item I ordered as the prices are extremely reasonable considering the amount of food you get plus the quality is like nothing I’ve ever had before. I wish i could have given 10 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ as the food was way beyond my expectations. I would definitely order again and I highly recommend them to anybody and everybody possible. I’m so excited to try other menu items to review as I’m sure they’ll be just as delicious as everything I ordered. Since there is so much food I now have enough for 2 lunches and a dinner. I even called to thank them and Ann was so incredibly polite and gracious. This is definitely a gem in Victoria. Plus they are open from 11am to late most nights til 1am and Thursday -Saturday til 3am for you late night eaters. It’s honestly the best food I’ve had in a very long time and I don’t feel all weighted down and sick because it was not greasy at all. I can’t stress enough how delicious it is and how reasonable the prices are even without the buy 1 get 1 free deals they have right now on Uber eats. Thank you so much Hi Five chicken for everything. Manjit was very nice there and makes customers happy. They always don't have enough made chicken ready but must call 15 mins to order before going is been okay. Halal chicken is also perfect! Other staff need more training as they can sometimes seem tired and not much caring for customer service. I think prices are fair but location is good in DT. Also open late until 2am

It’s my first time eating here, and it did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly, and helpfull. The food is freshly cooked. Their fried chicken is amazing, and their fries are super crispy. I love the donut too 🙂

Tried a few chicken places here in Victoria, this place’s service phenomenal, they ask for your preferences, serve your food in the best conditions, I got my chicken in two batches because they wanted to give me them fresh. The servers go far to walk food to you. I usually don’t tip at fast food places but these guys have me feeling great. Especially a guy named AK, great friendly server.

the very definition of mid. chicken is a little scrappy, breading is average at best, gravy was subpar, employees are emotionless and not especially kind, pricing is high compared to quality, two of the three pieces in the three piece meal were drumsticks, and I had an eyelash or otherwise small black curly hair in my meal - picture for proof. atmosphere is hot and bright and there is not much seating. all that being said, I did eat everything, so it’s a 2 overall and not a 1. will not return.

Edit: Adding they told me below to email, so I did, two weeks ago with no response. It appears the gesture was just for the image of appearing to respond, not out of genuine help.

I recently ordered the 2-piece fried chicken combo, and it was a satisfying experience. The chicken was tender and flavorful, with a perfect crispy coating. The portion size of the fries was generous, making the meal quite filling. Overall, it was a delicious.
