I recently spent just over a week at this campground in my travel trailer and absolutely loved it! And the sites with connections are very convenient.

It was so peaceful and quiet with exceptionally scenic views of the mountains. And yes, you see lots of stars at night. Highest recommendation!

Million dollar views from this campground! Very quiet and remote. Easy to get to, large private site. Highly recommend!

Christine was a friendly and helpful host! Large private sites with fire ring and picnic table. The views are amazing and it was very peaceful here! Easy drive to Great Sand Dunes National Park.

A MUST stop for any Colorado traveling. The RV dump site is very conveniently located. Everyone here including the ownership is nice as can be! The SLV is sure gorgeous! If coming in the winter, be sure to bring a heated hose. There is always plenty of fire wood and it smells AMAZING! There are a LOT of chipmunks and bunnies running around. During my stay I've seen a lot of folks who enjoy walking their dogs around. That being said the camp is always kept up. Very clean, no trash laying around and a great atmosphere! If you are a cannabis consumer, there are 6 dispensaries near by, all touting the world famous San Luis Valley grown cannabis! The largest high Alpine desert valley in the world! Yeah, so it's a pretty awesome place. We came here on vacation and decided to live here permanently in the Valley. This camp is located in the premo spot for star gazing, mountain views. Colorado!

Christine was a thoughtful and very sweet host. Her campground has a spectacular view of the mountains in every direction, and it’s located near a dark sky park so the nighttime star viewing is amazing! Be prepared for any type of weather (if Spring camping like us), but it’s just far enough out to feel very private but close enough to a nearby town to be completely isolated.

This campground was amazing from the start. Great host, available, warm, friendly, but not intrusive, amazing star gazing, and centrally located with great hiking near by. My dog thought she was in heaven being able to roam the brush, and at night she couldn't wait to get "safe" near the fire as the coyotes howled. I would recommend this to anybody seeking some solitude and quiet at night, away from the cramped campgrounds nearer the sand dunes. I also liked that the RV section is far enough away from the tents that we could not hear their generators at night, and the toilet facility was absolutely clean and comfortable to use. Thank you very much for the amazing experience!

One star for the stars. That is about all this place has to offer. The bathroom situation alone deserves no stars. Tough to go wrong with the views, but this place is pretty awful.
Bathrooms need to actually be there. Pads were dusty dirt. I can only imagine what a mess it would be if it rains while you’re there. Unless they invest in some upgrades, keep driving.
