Great restaurant with superb terrace. Came in for late breakfast and were promptly seated on the patio by the hostess. Good coffee. We had an order of each of the 3 bacon offerings: apple smoked, coffee, and jalapenos. Avocado toast was loaded with fresh lettuce and fried pieces of garlic - which was a nice touch. One of us, is a vegan and we ordered the vegan pancakes with bananas. Pecan Maple syrup was tasty, but I can't say I enjoyed the vegan pancakes. They tasted mushy and undercooked. Again I'm not a vegan. Service was very pleasant. 2% added to bill for kitchen staff- it's not a all lot but I'm truly tired of added fees. Just pay your staff. Reason for the 4 stars.

Great place for breakfast. Ate here while visiting Oceanside and glad we did. Coffee was really good. Flat white with vanilla was awesome. Jalapeño bacon hit the spot. I had the Cardiff Crack Hash with a Sunny Up egg and the tri-tip, peppers, and potatoes went so well with the seasonings and sauce. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in a while to be honest. Also had the banana bread which was moist and warm. Tots were crispy and hot. The lemon blueberry muffin was dense which we both liked. Most places have really light airy muffins but this one was heavy and had great flavor. Husband loved the Smoked Salmon Scramble. It was the first juicy, non-overcooked salmon he had the whole visit.

I came in after a 12 hour long train trip and I was hungry! I was seated on the patio right away. It was a gorgeous morning and I had an ocean view. The atmosphere was laid back. The food was pretty good overall, but I had to use the salt shaker a few times. Overall, a great breakfast!

Great service, great vibes and great food! Had nice vegan options and the food was great. We also ordered the bloody marys and they were awesome! Would definitely come back again!

Food was creative and very flavorful. Lots of different fusion foods and some classics as well. All are done very well.

The fried rice was very good. You can have the pork replaced with chicken, beef, or extra eggs. The Kimchi and pineapple gave it a nice balance of sweet and tartness and having the egg on top instead of scrambled into the rice allows each ingredient to stand out on its own better.
The fish and chips was fantastic as well. Very light and flaky but crispy crust. The sauce was so light and fresh. A nice dill flavor that pairs well with hot sauce.

They do not have fried chicken and waffles anymore as of April 2024.

We were walking our dog and stopped here because we were starving. The view is something amazing. Location is primo. We ordered the, BLT, stuffed waffles mimosa and Mexican coke. Everything was delicious. Prices are pretty high but I guess it’s expected since you’re paying for the view too. Our waitress was super nice and personable. She was really on top of everything as well and checked in. Coolest part was we got to bring our dog. He loved it too.

It’s only worth for the view, not for the food or the service. It’s very understandable that they are busy, however, I am the only one who had no tableware while my salad came, and I tried to ask for, no one responded to my request till another guest next to me and noticed my awkward situation, walked to them and asked for me, therefore, they delivered it to me quietly (they felt so natural like nothing happened?!?, no explanation or apology). I often do not want to complain about service, I kept watching the waitress and they always bring tableware and menu together while they guide the guests to their table, no matter one person, two people or a group. In the end, I asked for payment and they came and simply left their payment machine on my table at least for 3-4 minutes, then one girl noticed me and asked me if I have already paid, I answered yes and I’d like a receipt, please.

Perfect place for a gorgeous So Cal day. Patio was full but hostess did a great job of accommodating us the best she could. Love the atmosphere and the server was super personable. He recommended the Cardiff Crack Has and it was terrific and a little comedic (check the pic and see if you can see why).

Good place to come with family and friends. Also the Top Gun house is next door!
