Well, I’m amazed - at how quick the appointment was set up, the professionalism, friendliness and very knowledgeable Martin. What a fantastic guy! The at-home hearing test was quick and explained in detail. (Which I like) enough information for you to be informed yet not to forget or be confused. We spoke about different hearing aids. I personally chose the Oticon Intent 1’s. Wayyy better priced than a well known high street chain that cost the earth. So I’m chuffed to bits. I’d urge anyone who’s looking for an independent experienced audiologist , to get in touch and reap the benefits. It’s the best thing you’ll do for your ears and your wallet.

I met Stephen when he came to replace a lost hearing aid. They were only 3 weeks old and had been purchased from a well known retailer. I was very impressed with the level of care and expertise provided. After retesting my hearing thoroughly my equipment was set up carefully and professionally. I was surprised that the new settings were so much more pleasing to the ear and more comfortable than the originally. Contacted Stephen early April and arranged a home visit. Was given a hearing test and fitted with Oticon hearing aids all within a week (I’m in South West Scotland) Excellent service throughout and also VERY well priced. As it turned out my phone and the hearing aids were not compatible for 2 way hands free calls, I contacted Stephen and with no issues whatsoever he arranged a swap to Phonak aids, again within a few days. Thank you to Stephen for your call today. Updating my Oticon OPN 1s to the latest firmware, My hearing test caused a few comments as it was a lot worse than the last one (2018). All sorted now. I am considering an upgrade but will see how I get on with the new firmware first. Thank you once again. EDIT Once again I have to thank Stephen for his visit. He posted me a set of Oticon Inten1s. Having tried them for a couple of days I knew they were what I wanted and so ordered them. Stephen the visited us and set them up. While here he tested my wifes hearing (its not as bad as mine) and he set up my old Oticon OPN1s for her to try. To say we are chuffed to bits with the service is a bit of an under statement. Stephen visited my home and I have to say the knowledge and service provided was fantastic. I had thought about new hearing aids for a while as my NHS version are limited in usefulness. I had visited audiologists but there was always a feeling that they just wanted to make a quick buck. The price of the hearing aids I wanted had put me off but the saving with hi-tech was incredible. I would thoroughly recommend Hi Tech hearing solutions. I was visited by Stephen just over a year ago and he pointed me in the best direction regarding hearing aids. I had NHS aids but my Phonak ones made life so much easier, connected directly with my mobile phone, so handy. I had a little problem this week, which was my fault, not doing something the right way but Stephen dropped in to explain things and sort it.
