I have to begin this review with the hostess, Lindsey. When my wife and I entered the establishment, we were greeted by the profoundly gracious hostess Lindsey. Lindsey asked my wife if we've dined with them previously. As a result of it being our first visit, we were given a complimentary appetizer, but the gracious hospitality did not end there.

Bathroom cleanliness is at the top of my list at all establishments. If I can trust your bathroom, I can trust your kitchen! The bathroom receives an above average review, alone.

Chef Reggie stopped by our table to say hello. He gave us his background in Cajun cuisine because my wife ordered Cajun pasta. Without a background in Cajun cuisine, most Cajun pastas are just heavy cream with creole seasonings over a bland dish. The Cajun pasta was outstanding with intricate layers of flavor. The flavor profile had depth.

At the conclusion of our meal, Lindsey reappeared to ensure that our experience was satisfactory. Additionally, we were offered Keylime pie as a parting gift to seal the level of service and satisfaction of our experience.

I rate all aspects of our dining experience a 10 out of 10.

J. Marks was recommended, and I have to say that our experience and food was very average. The Tuna Tartare had very little flavor, and the Guacamole appetizer was a little for a lot of money. The Fierro Chicken was good but the sauce was thick and sticky (not on purpose), the Five Cheese Pasta was ok, and the Shrimp Scampi was heavy heavy on the lemon and the tails were left on the shrimp (tell the chef “sorry, not sorry”). So many food choices in and around Pompano, if this place’s goal was to look, feel and taste like a chain restaurant, they nailed it.

This was amazing, I have never had such a fantastic dining experience! Dani, the manager, took great care of us and we got to meet the wonderful chef, Reggie, who’s cooking us out of this world! Literally could not give enough stars here, I live about 2hrs away and will be back to Pompano JUST to come here!

First time dining at this restaurant and everything was fantastic. Dani greeted our party like we were family and I really appreciate being able to speak to chef for my wife’s dietary needs. Food was great and made fresh. Our server took her time to make sure everyone felt good about ordering. Will be going back soon!

We recently dined at J Marks and were absolutely blown away by the exceptional customer service. The manager, Danni , always makes us feel like we are part of the family ! Danni and her entire crew always greet us with a warm welcome, pay attention to detail, and demonstrate genuine care for every guest’s experience transforming our meal into a memorable occasion. The food is always delicious, but it is Danni’s hospitality that truly stands out ! My family and I have been coming here for years and she takes the time to greet us all , already knows our meal favorites and even my kids love her and like my older son always says “ She is the real “ GOAT” ! Thank you Danni and team for always providing excellent, scrumptious food , but most of all for truly loving your job and being so dedicated !

I must say our overall experience was excellent, if I could give them 10 stars I would. We both enjoyed the Oriental Salad but later that night I wondered if our charges were correct. We both had looked at the menu listed here and decided on our choice before arriving so we really didn't review the menu before ordering. When I called the next day I asked for a manager and Lindsey talked to me. She looked on line and realized the on line menu was years old and said she would call her Google contact and have it updated. She was very sincere and I was pleased with the outcome but here's where she shined, she immediately asked my address and said she was sending me a gift certificate. That was above and beyond my expectations. Her customer service is above reproach. Thank you Lindsey.

Fantastic!!! As always!! We made reservations for 19 people for my Mother’s birthday they put us in our own separate room it was comfortable and quiet!!
One extremely professional waitress KATHERINE handled it like a pro!
The drinks were endless, appetizers were quick, all of the main courses came out all at once!
Not one issue whatsoever. Very smooth.
The food , as always was phenomenal! Everyone was very pleased.
At our condo we have a great group of people and going out for dinner with friends is a twice a week event !! Last week was at La Veranda and that was a total disaster, so it was a great relief
that J. Marks was spectacular and our waitress, KATHERINE was above and beyond awesome!!

The Best part of these trip … these place is a must on your #todolist , highly recommended visit the bar .. just go straight and ask for Brandy ? not the drink ? thanks so much Brandy I had the best experience ever ,I’ve been here many time. I can related these is the best .#best bartender ever,I and I use to be a Bart as well .. food is amazing almost so perfect like bunny my friend ?
I ate sea food but the best was the drinks and the service .. o hope I come back .. thanks to all the staff ! And thanks to all that make these restaurant work . Everything was great !
