Being a realtor means helping people buy and sell real estate but it has a side benefit that I get to explore the many different neighborhoods and their awesome restaurants. On my last trip to St Pete, I stopped at Mazzaro’s to indulge in the sights, smells, and sounds of this amazing place and grab some foods too. My wife and I shared a Fig and Pig sandwich and an assortment of their pastries. Everything was fantastic as usual and if you’ve never been, make a special trip, you won’t be disappointed.
Quick tip- when ordering your sandwich at the deli counter, be ready to order BEFORE you take a number. Pull your number, they take your order immediately, and then hang out until you’re called. Pay outside in the patio area and enjoy! Even on hot FL days, the patio isn’t bad because they have a ton of fans out there. Enjoy!

We walked every inch of this place and just couldn’t seem to see it all. Fresh, fresh, fresh! Made in-house pastas, salads, desserts, entrees, - literally too much to detail.

This is a place where you can literally come and enjoy… get wrapped up in the history and people behind the recipes handed down through the generations.

Highly recommend Cafe and Dessert - sit on a stool and visit with locals while sweetening your tooth!

I visited this place recently and had a mixed experience. The deli staff and the meat counter were efficient and friendly. However, the service at the coffee shop was not great; the staff seemed more interested in chatting with customers than taking orders. Additionally, I found the bakery staff to be a bit short with customers.

The pasta and sauce area provided excellent service, and the overall atmosphere was busy with tight aisles and plenty of customers. The parking situation can be challenging due to the high volume of visitors.

The main market's bathrooms were in poor condition, and when we asked to use the restroom, we were initially directed to go across the street to other businesses. It became clear that the private restrooms were reserved for events.

The prices were reasonable for the quality of the items, and despite the chaotic atmosphere, there is plenty of great food to enjoy.

Mazzaro’s lives up to the hype.The sandwiches we had were amazing. The selection of wine here is incredible and there is something for every price range. They also have fresh pasta, pastries & meats to choose from. If you are looking for something delicious and easy they have several options to take home & bake, from lasagna to pizza. I can’t wait to come back!

Fomos ao Mazzaro's para pegar sanduíches e levar para a praia. Eu tive dificuldade de saber o menu antes de ir porque não encontrei aqui (somente fotos de 5 anos atras) e o link do instagram não funcionava. O local é bem cheio porque tem uma padaria e um mercado junto, e nesse mercado tem muuuuitas coisas diferentes, desde vários tipos de temperos e molhos, até vários tipos de salame. Meu namorado escolheu no 1 e eu o 14, e ambos estavam ótimos! Achei o valor bom, é similar ao valor de wrap no brasil.

As someone who grew up with family-owned Italian delis in New York, I was thrilled to find many familiar products at Mazzaro’s. I was especially happy to see Pastosa’s ravioli—they’re the best!

The pricing here is very reasonable, and I’ll definitely be back.

Their sandwiches are incredible, and all under $10, which is a great deal.

I also spent some time at the espresso bar and had a great experience. The coffee is both affordable and delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming!

We’ve been a few times now and always enjoy ourselves. The coffee shop doesn’t have much seating so get there early. The bakery is busy so please be patient with the staff. The options for barkers items, cheese, wine and prepared foods are endless. This is a must stop shop for the St. Pete area.
