Apartment hunting is stressful enough but The Mark added a layer of insult to the process. Scheduling a tour online? Easy. AI Bot to answer your questions about your tour? Great. But I question where the human element/management is involved in the process.

Twice this week, I have scheduled appointments to view this property. Got confirmation emails both times. The first one, I drove from Fredericksburg (2.5 hours with traffic), arrived, found an open front door with a locked, dark office. No one was there. Called the office number multiple times, no answer, left a voicemail, and have never heard back. I hung around for an hour hoping for some breakthrough. Went back to my confirmation email to make sure I got the time/date correct and noticed at the bottom where it says “Your appointment is not confirmed until a staff member contacts you directly.” Ok. Well, not only is that incredibly stupid (I’ve looked at about 15 other properties and not one other place did this), but it really should be a pop-up message when you book online. Don’t hide this in a confirmation email that you know no one reads. I left very frustrated and drove the 2 hours back.

Decided to try again…re-booked for today, later time, and no one has contacted me. I’m getting reminder texts from their bot system reminding me of my appointment but, without the aforementioned staff contact, I’m not doing that fruitless drive again. No response to either appointment. No response to my voicemail. This is no way to conduct business with potential residents in a high-demand housing market. If you’re wondering why you currently have 14 open units at $200 less than your neighbors/competition (who average 2-3 available units right now), I’d check in with the people running this place. Don’t give your money to these people…they obviously have so much they can afford to ignore you! What a joke of a business.

Lived at the Mark since the summer of 2023. I’d say it’s an excellent place to call home if you need an apartment. The staff is friendly and responsive to my wife and I’s needs and any maintenance issue is resolved very quickly. The amenities are above average (pool and a good gym) and most importantly the building and surrounding are very safe. Having the silver line of the metro so close and covered parking are excellent as well. My one complaint would be the lack of lockout services but that only affects you if you’re a bit of a dummy (like me) and lock yourself out. Overall I’ve been far more satisfied with this complex (most of all the management) than any other apartment complex I have lived at. Happy to call the Mark home.

I have only been in this apartment complex for a year and I love this place. The apartment is in an ideal location with the new metro station and far away enough from the hustle and bustle of city life. The apartment is always clean, repairs are always prompt and effective.

I generally dont normally give names when giving a review but in this case I will like to give a shout out to the management team: Paloma, Mikey, Ryan, Enrique and Dan!. They have been very helpful in everything. I cant thank them enough. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it.

This apartment has everything! A gym, a pool, and even restaurants under the building. We love it! Paloma was a great help with our lease. She made sure all of our questions were answered and was warm and welcoming when showing us the units. On our move-in day, Enrique helped us in walking through a smooth transition. Another staff helped us too. Overall, a great place with great people!! Thank you Paloma and Enrique for a warm welcome to our new home!

I will be wrapping my stay here at the Mark up in a couple of months but I did want to give my honest feedback on the Mark. It is not a bad place to live. The apartments are pretty nice, all inclusive utilities prevents for unexpected Cable, Water and Heating bills plus its location next to the Metro Station and one stop away with a Giant a block away and about a mile down the road from the new Wegmans makes everything in reach. The best part are the beautiful flowery trees that blossom for about 8 weeks from end of summer to the beginning of fall. I spend alot of night’s cooking dinner and just eating by the trees from my balcony. My dentist office is in the building and Alo Vietnam has tasty food and good drinks and is also in the building. My biggest reason for not renewing my lease is the only real problem I have with the Mark. The Amenities are sorta bad. The gym is pretty legit but the residents/coffee lounge is pretty lame, the courtyards could use alot of moderntizaton and the residents have been pleading for a package acceptance station. The reason why I am moving is alot of more amenity-filled apartments have opened up near by for the same or even less than what my rent is expected to be with the rate increase that will no doubt come. I simply can’t justify paying so much forcso little. Especially knowing other neighboring apartments have utilities packages too

I love living at The Mark at Dulles Station. I have a beautiful apartment in a fabulous location! I am grateful for the security in the building and appreciate having a parking deck that allows secure entry to the floor on which I live. The leasing office staff - Paloma and Dan are especially helpful with day to day things from answering routine questions to notifying me of package deliveries. A special shout out to our maintenance person Eric - not only is he polite, responsive and knowledgeable, but he quickly diagnosed and repaired what could have been a serious electrical problem when a breaker went bad, affecting a number of electrical outlets in my apartment.

They force you to use Cox internet with their utilities package. Absolute nightmare provider, constantly disconnects 10-20 times a day, good luck if you work remotely in any capacity or just want to watch a movie at night. Cox is no help with this issue either.

My experience at the Mark can only be described as awesome! Call the Mark my home for a few years-I can tell you it is extremely well managed. And even though they have changed owners, the staff and especially the property manager-Sylvia runs this place like a 5 star resort paying close attention to the smallest of details. I got an email for my birthday and a card from the staff! Really, how awesome is that! The fact that the property manager and the staff can remember everyone’s name is baffling to me! They are very professional and courteous and always go out of their way to make you feel extra special! Always keeping everyone informed and always delivering the highest level of customer service.
The apt themselves are larger than the average apt. Mine a 2/2 and is about 1,200 square feet with hardwood floors! Very spacious and yoh even get storage with your unit! Where do you find that?
By far one of my best experiences than most complexes or hotels I’ve stayed for that matter. Daniel, one of the maintenance staff is very sweet and always making sure any and all issues are addressed promptly. The cleaning staff is always making sure that the facility is always shining and you wouldn’t even know that pets are allowed as the place is always spic and span!
