this is an A-okay Trader Joe’s location. it’s two floors below street level. this location feels a little bit old. the layout is a little strange but all your Trader Joe faves are here. frozen foods and breads are on the bottom floor. checkout, produce, meats, and more are on the upper floor. it actually wasn’t crowded bc i headed here close to closing but i imagine this place is a mad house during normal hours because of its location in the Upper West Side. anyway, if anything this store needs a makeover and a better flow but beyond that service and goods are up to snuff.

Trader Joe’s 72nd Street is a convenient location to all means of public transportation.

The staff are all super friendly. The prices are good, with an excellent selection of produce and grocery needs.

The lines are always super long, but they do move fast. I do not recommend visiting during peak hours on weekends, it gets very busy with very long lines.

Whew! Two floors and so many nooks and crannies of Trader Joe's goodness! The store art is unique and reflects the Broadway location, really fun to notice these special touches throughout. Regular TJs shoppers note: no wine sold at NYC locations. Prices seemed the same as other states. Stop in to buy your NYC shopping bag.

This store is so racist. So much discrimination. I give the store I came in there with a bag of food to exchange with the manager. Michael came up to me and gave me hell he was talking back to me and making comments, but the funny thing is I have my receipt to exchange the food. My grandmother has Alzheimer’s, so I went to exchange the food .He made fun of me. He looked down on me. Remember people who have Alzheimer’s can’t remember what they brought. It was very disrespectful Mr Jordan, the second manager was laughing about the whole situation. I went through to exchange my items for my sick grandmother. It’s a damn shame how they have this store here it should be united to all types of people. Black white rainbow ?. They shouldn’t allow discrimination‍♀️

I wanted to express my gratitude to the amazing team at Trader Joe’s store- 2073 Broadway at 72nd street. Every time I shop here, I'm reminded of how fortunate I am to have such friendly and helpful staff. The employees are always so kind, knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions I have about products, and they go above and beyond to make sure I find what I need.

As someone who shops here regularly, I can attest that this level of customer service is truly exceptional. It's clear that they genuinely care about their customers and want to make sure we leave the store feeling satisfied.

So thank you, Trader Joe’s team, for being such an integral part of my shopping experience. You truly make it a pleasure to shop at your store!

I love The Trader Joe’s on 72nd and Broadway and so do the many customers rudely turned away by the employee standing guard that will not let you in if you arrive at 9:01pm. It has happened to me and countless others. Does this align with your “Customer Focused Culture” and “Low Stress Shopping Environment?”Why are store hours 8:00am-9:00pm? With no immediate covid concerns and the Pandemic being behind us, store hours ķushould have returned to 8:00am -10:00pm by now. It is, indeed, very stressful to see and be shoppers that have to scramble and rush to get through the front door by 9pm ON THE DOT or be stopped and told no you aren’t able to shop today.

Nothing wrong with the products but there is a cashier that’s extremely rude and inefficient. I didn’t catch their name but they worked on Cashier #33 at 7:35pm on 10/6. The person from the line next to me just went so it was my turn to go up from my line. Cashier #33 was free and waving their number so I went up. They then asked me to go back because apparently I came up “too fast.” I went back and the staff directing the line asked me why I didn’t just go to #33 since it was open (this is the logical thing which I had initially done). The staff directing the line was super confused about why I was sent back. Basically #33 was power tripping super hard!!! Unbelievable. And they slowed down a 50 person line for this… just saying but this is not good for your business.

This place is one of my favorite ⭐ Trader Joe's stores ? in town! ? Always stacked, organized, and clean. ? Usually packed ? and has a long line but you can't compete with the cheap Trader Joe's prices! ?️ Staff is super nice and professional! I wish they had more spots on the UWS! ?
